EXPRESSION OF INTEREST TO SUBMIT PROPOSALS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF INSTITUTIONAL ERVEN 2800 WALVIS BAY, 1413 & 1539 MEERSIG, 3781 NARRAVILLE, 7092, 7270, 7554 & 7853 KUISEBMOND

 

The Municipal Council of Walvis Bay has the following serviced erven zoned “Institutional” readily available, for the development:

The Municipal Council of Walvis Bay hereby invites interested institutions, companies and individuals who have access to funding, as well as the potential to develop the above properties to submit proposals focusing on uses listed under “primary uses” for intuitional erven in Walvis Bay Town Planning Scheme, as amended.

 

The submission of the proposals must include an offer to purchase the land from the Municipal Council of Walvis Bay.

 

Proposals, in a sealed envelope and clearly marked “Proposals for the development of institutional erven 2800 Walvis Bay, 1413 & 1539 Meersig, 3781 Narraville, 7092, 7270, 7554 & 7853 Kuisebmond – Notice No. G/RFP/MWB-17/2018”, must be deposited in the Tender Box in the foyer of the Civic Centre, Nangolo Mbumba Drive, Walvis Bay on or before 11:00 on Friday, 30 March 2018.

 

Proposals will be opened in the presence of the proponent’s representatives who choose to attend in Room 120 (Dolphin Conference Room) of the Civic Centre at 11:00 on Friday, 30 March 2018.

 

The Municipal Council of Walvis Bay is not bound to accept any proposal. The erf purchased under this Expression of Interest will not be allowed to be speculated with. The properties will only be developed for land uses listed under “primary uses” of the Walvis Bay Town Planning Scheme as amended. Applications for alternative uses under “consent uses” or rezoning of the properties before, during and after the sale of the properties will not be entertained.

 

No late, telegraphic or facsimile proposals will be accepted.
