Hon. Minister of Health and Social Services, Dr Kalumbi Shangula inaugurated the new N$30 million Intensive Care Unit (Adult ICU) at the Welwitschia Hospital.
“I am therefore proud and honoured to witness yet another historic chapter being written by Welwitschia Hospital. The inauguration of the ICU facility represents another commendable achievement for Walvis Bay, especially given the value of this capital investment of N$30 million by a private company. This type of investment is even more remarkable, seeing as our national economy is currently under severe pressure,” said Alderman Immanuel Wilfried, Mayor of Walvis Bay.
