Namibia has a rich cultural background. The country has 13 ethnic groups and various languages and dialects. Languages spoken in Namibia are English, Afrikaans, Oshiwambo, Otjiherero, Damara/Nama, Rukwangali, Lozi, Setwsana, German and Portuguese.Due to the fishing trade with Spain, Walvis Bay has seen a growth in the number of local Spanish residents.
