Hello, I wonder if anyone can help me? I'm researching the SVGarthpool,wrecked in 1929 off the CapeVerde Islands; all the crew survived including my ancestor CB Steel& William Austin Willis who I've discovered was Mayor of Walvis Bay between1969/1979. I've read a bit about him;I'd love to learn more, and/or get in touch with his descendants,maybe learn of any archives/photos about Garthpool orjust Willis. Any information/help most appreciated.
