{"id":2592,"date":"2026-08-03T13:05:38","date_gmt":"2026-08-03T13:05:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.walvisbaycc.org.na\/?post_type=noticeboard&#038;p=2592"},"modified":"2026-08-21T15:07:57","modified_gmt":"2026-08-21T15:07:57","slug":"invitation-to-submit-youth-driven-climate-change-related-project-proposals-for-microgrants-funding-2","status":"publish","type":"noticeboard","link":"https:\/\/www.walvisbaycc.org.na\/?noticeboard=invitation-to-submit-youth-driven-climate-change-related-project-proposals-for-microgrants-funding-2","title":{"rendered":"INVITATION TO SUBMIT YOUTH-DRIVEN CLIMATE CHANGE RELATED PROJECT PROPOSALS FOR MICROGRANTS\u2019 FUNDING"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>WALVIS BAY CITY YOUTH CLIMATE ACTION FUND- 2026<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Initiatives must be led and driven by the youth or youth-serving organisations (Schools, Churches, Educational\/ Community institutions and or other registered youth organisations).<\/li>\n<li>Youth-led group, organisations and institutions ages 15 &#8211; 24 years<\/li>\n<li>Be small-scale within an approximate microgrant value of N$ 20 000 &#8211; N$ 80 000 each.<\/li>\n<li>Be successfully implementable within the next 6 months and have the capacity for future adaptation and replication.<br>\nInclude local youth participation and benefit local youth groups.<\/li>\n<li>Integrate climate-environmental, social and economic considerations as well as promote international, national, regional and local climate and sustainability development policies, plans and programmes (PPPs)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Proposals can be submitted to the Walvis Bay City Youth Climate Action Fund (WYCAF) &amp; Selection Team.
