The Municipal Council of Walvis Bay offers the following EXTERNAL opportunities:
Purpose of the Job
To manage the Environmental Health Division and to plan, direct and control all required activities designed to prevent and control physical, chemical and biological factors in the environment that can have a detrimental influence on the health and well-being of individuals, families and communities in the Walvis Bay Municipal District.

Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Educational Qualification Requirements | A B Degree or B-Tech Degree in Public Health / Environmental Health (NQF level 7). |
Minimum Experience Requirements | 6 years in a similar position covering the entire spectrum of environmental health functions, of which at least 3 years should have been at a local authority or similar organization, in a supervisory capacity. |
Special Requirement | Driving Licence Code BERegistered as Environmental Health Practitioner with Allied Health Professional Council of Namibia. |
