Green Valley (aka Farm 37)’s site inaugurated

Posted: 19 Dec 2019

The site inauguration of the establishment of Green Valley (Farm 37) took place. Alderman Immanuel Wilfried said, “I would like to emphasis that the Municipal Council of Walvis Bay is the only custodian of Farm 37 and that the next process of allocating ervens to our residents will only be done by the Municipality of Walvis Bay. This initiative of establishing a new township on Farm 37 is the joint effort of our key strategic partners and the importance of partnerships has been highlighted here and I would like to acknowledge and single out the role of our Government, through the Ministry of Urban and Rural Development, our Regional Government, Governor of the Erongo Region, and Constituency Councillors for continuing to cooperate with the Municipality of Walvis Bay to keep working towards the goal of adequate housing for all.”
