ASSISTANT: ANIMAL CONTROLLER –(PATERSON GRADE LEVEL A3)

DEPARTMENT OF WATER, WASTE & ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT

Purpose of the Job

To provide the Environmental Health division with assistance regarding community mobilisation, the promotion of public health, and the control of health hazards which may have a detrimental effect to the health of the residents of the town.

To provide assistance with animal and pest control activities in accordance with directives of the Animal Controller and the Chief: Health Services.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 10 Certificate (not school report) with 23 points plus 6 months to 1 year work experience in handling of animals (Dogs).

• Valid code B driving licence

Remuneration:

Basic Salary:                                    N$ 154 747.00 pa

Housing Allowance:                      N$    68 088.68 pa

OR

Rental Allowance:                         N$    36 365.54 pa

Transport Allowance:                  N$    17 400.00 pa

Pension Fund membership as well as Medical Aid membership (both employee and employer contributions) are applicable.
