PROCUREMENT OFFICER (PATERSON GRADE LEVEL B5)

Purpose of the Job
To manage administer the provision of effective and efficient procurement and contract management services to the Municipality, as well as manage the sourcing of and acquisition of goods, works and services, in line with the approved and signed Service Level Agreements and/or Contract specifications, to optimise operational processes, mitigate risks, uphold ethical and compliance standards to support the Council’s overall mission and objectives.

Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Requirements
•National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Procurement Management / Logistics Management / Supply Chain Management.
Minimum Experience Requirements
•3 years’ experience in Procurement.
Special Requirements
•Driving licence code B
Remuneration:
Basic salary: N$ 359 664.00 pa
Transport allowance: N$ 15 000.00 pa
Housing allowance: N$ 158 252.16 pa
OR
Rental allowance: N$ 84 521.04 pa
Pension Fund membership as well as Medical Aid membership (both employee and employer contributions) are applicable.
