The Municipal Council of Walvis Bay offers the following EXTERNAL opportunity:
TEMPORARY ASSISTANT: ANIMAL CONTROLLER, BAND A3 – ON THREE (3) MONTHS FIXED TERM CONTRACT
DEPARTMENT OF WATER, WASTE & ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT
Purpose of the Job
To provide the Environmental Health division with assistance regarding community mobilisation, the promotion of public health, and the control of health hazards which may have a detrimental effect to the health of the residents of the town.
To provide assistance with animal and pest control activities in accordance with directives of the Animal Controller and the Chief: Health Services.
Key Performance Areas
Qualifications and Experience
| Minimum Educational Qualification | · Grade 10 certificate (not school report) with 23 points. |
| Minimum Experience Required | · 6 months to 1 year work experience in handling of animals (Dogs). |
| Special Requirements | · Driving Licence Code B. |
